New to Rugby?
James River Rugby is interested in recruiting players from the area to participate in our club. We complete in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union (MARFU) as a member of the Virginia Rugby Union (VRU).
Our regular season runs from March to June and them from August to November. We participate in both the 15's and 7's seasons.
If you have no experience and are thinking about trying a new sport, come check us out. Our coach is very knowledgeable and we have many players with vast experience that will teach you the fundamentals that will help in becoming an all around rugby player.
Our game style is one of agression and heart. Anyone can play and we practice at Pole Green Park, off 295 near Mechanicsville (directions).
