- February 7, 2006 - Start of Regular Practice :
 Full Tuesday and Thursday training session for the spring schedule begins on Tuesday February 7th at Pole Green Park. We'll have a full schedule in the spring so there will be plenty of work to do.
- April 1 - 2, 2006 - James River to host the MARFU Collegiate Championships :
James River RFC will host the 2006 MARFU Collegiate Championships at Pole Green Park, site of the Ed and Sandy Lee Tournament, and home pitch of the club's mens and womens teams.
The weekend will include Men's and Womens Semi-Finals on Saturday, and Sunday Finals for MARFU Collegiate Division I and Division II. Teams to be included in the competition will not be finalized until after the Quarterfinals round on March 25th, but could include sides from programs like, Penn State, Navy, Virginia Tech, UVa, Princeton, Maryland, UR, VCU, Georgetown, Mary Washington, and more.
It is very important that the club do it's best to make these championships a successful event. Plan on making time to come out to help.
- April 22, 2006 - James River to host the opening round of the MARFU playoffs :
This year's, format for the Division III MARFU playoff has been changed to be more like the other divisional playoffs. 'River as the number 2 seed in the Region will be hosting the number 7 seed at Pole Green park.
Our opening game will be against Happy Valley on April 22nd at Pole Green Park. Win, and we continue to the next round where we will play the winner of Old Gaelic vs. Roanoke on April 29th at a location to be determined.

- April 29 - 30, 2006 - MARFU Division III Semifinals & Finals :
The MARFU Finals will be played at Quantico in northern Virginia. To win we must be able to travel well and win Saturday, in the Semifinals, and then again on Sunday in the Finals.
- May 13 - 14, 2006 - USA Division III Championships :
The Round of Eight and Final Four will be held in Columbia South Carolina.
- June 3, 2006 - USA Division III Finals in San Diego, CA :
This is the goal we're shooting for.
